Quest Nutrition Overload Protein
Quest Nutrition Overload Protein Bars take the standard protein bar and pile on everything that makes a snack worth eating. Coated, drizzled and packed with chunks, chips and pieces, each bar delivers 20g of protein with under 1g of sugar — the indulgent end of the protein bar market, without the sugar load that usually comes with it.
Cheat On Basic Snacks
Most protein bars ask you to accept a compromise: decent macros, forgettable eating experience. Overload bars were built to close that gap. Each one starts with a flavoured base, gets loaded with inclusions like chocolatey chips, chunks, cookie pieces and toffee, then finishes with a coating and a drizzle over the top. In some flavours the inclusions alone make up a quarter of the bar.
The result eats far closer to a confectionery bar than a protein bar — but the numbers behind it haven't moved. Twenty grams of protein from a milk protein isolate and whey protein isolate blend, under 1g of sugar, and under 4g of carbohydrate.
Why Choose Quest Nutrition Overload Protein Bars
- 20g of protein per bar – A serious protein hit in a snack-sized format.
- Under 1g of sugar – A dessert-style bar without the sugar hit.
- Under 4g of carbohydrate – Fits comfortably into a controlled-carb approach.
- Loaded with inclusions – Chunks, chips, cookies and sprinkles through the bar, not just on top.
- Coated and drizzled – A finished, indulgent bar rather than a plain protein block.
- High in fibre – Around 11–12g per bar, mostly polydextrose prebiotic fibre.
- Certified gluten free – Suitable for anyone avoiding gluten.
Nutritional values and ingredients vary between flavours. Check the nutrition information panel on your chosen flavour for exact figures.
How Overload Bars Differ From Standard Quest Bars
The core Quest protein bar is a lean, straightforward option built for everyday use. Overload takes the same protein-first approach and adds the texture and finish of a proper treat — more inclusions through the bar, a coating on the outside, and a drizzle over the top.
If you want something simple to keep in the gym bag, the standard bar does that job well. If you want the bar that ends a craving properly — the one you reach for instead of dessert — that's what Overload is for.
When To Eat An Overload Bar
These are at their best as a dessert replacement or an afternoon craving-killer, where the eating experience matters as much as the macros. They also work post-training when you want protein in a hurry, or as a mid-afternoon bridge when dinner is still hours away.
High protein and high fibre together make these genuinely filling, so one bar tends to settle a craving rather than set off another.
How To Use Quest Nutrition Overload Protein Bars
Eat one bar any time you need a protein boost — between meals, after training, or in place of a sweet treat. Ready to eat straight from the wrapper, no preparation needed. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
