Melrose MCT Oil Kick Start is a clean, fast-acting fuel source for anyone wanting more from their day, whether that's a big training session, a busy morning at work or staying on track with a keto or low-carb lifestyle. Made from 100% coconut-derived medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), it blends C8 and C10 fatty acids to give the body and brain a rapid, natural source of energy. With a light, neutral taste, it mixes easily into coffee, shakes and meals, making it one of the simplest ways to add quality fats to your daily routine.
Why Choose Melrose MCT Oil Kick Start
- C8 and C10 MCT oil: A 60% caprylic acid (C8) and 40% capric acid (C10) blend for both fast-acting and longer-lasting fuel
- Keto and low-carb friendly: MCTs are rapidly converted into ketones, giving your body an alternative energy source when carbs are low
- Fuel for body and brain: Provides quick, natural energy to support training and mental performance
- 100% from coconuts: Made from organic, sustainably sourced coconuts, with no palm oil
- Neutral taste: Light and smooth, so it won't overpower your coffee, smoothie or salad
- Suitable for most diets: Vegan, dairy free, gluten free and GM free
What Is MCT Oil?
MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides, a type of fat found naturally in coconuts. MCT molecules are smaller than most other dietary fats, which makes them easier for the body to absorb and use for energy.
Rather than going through the usual digestive process, MCTs are absorbed into the bloodstream and travel to the liver, where they're converted into ketones. These ketones act as a sustainable fuel for the body and brain, which is why MCT oil is so popular with people following a keto or low-carb diet.
C8 vs C10: What's the Difference?
Caprylic acid (C8) is considered the most ketogenic MCT and is processed quickly for fast energy. Capric acid (C10) has a slightly longer chain, so the body takes a little longer to process it as fuel. Melrose combines both in a 60/40 split, giving you a blend of rapid and steadier energy in every serve.
How To Use
Start with 1 teaspoon (5mL) per day. After one week, slowly increase to 1–2 teaspoons daily, up to a maximum of 2 tablespoons (30mL). For best results, take as part of a low-carbohydrate diet. MCT oil has a light, neutral taste, so it can be added to coffee, protein shakes, smoothies and salad dressings, or taken straight off the spoon.
Servings: 250mL – approx. 16 | 500mL – approx. 33 (based on a 15mL serve)
Always read the label and use only as directed. Reduce serve size or discontinue use if you experience nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps or other gastrointestinal discomfort. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have diabetes, cirrhosis, acidosis or liver problems. Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
