Marco Mike Macro Shake Meal Replacement
Some days there's no window for a proper meal. Macro Mike Macro Shake Meal Replacement is built for exactly those days — a plant-based shake carrying more than 28g of protein, balanced carbohydrates and fats, a full A to Z spread of vitamins and minerals, and both prebiotic fibre and live probiotics. It comes on two bases, roasted peanut or creamy almond, and drinks like a thick shake rather than a nutrition product.
Why Choose Macro Mike Macro Shake Meal Replacement
- 28g+ plant protein per serve – from a blend of nut protein and Australian-grown faba bean protein, enough to keep you satisfied for hours
- Full A to Z vitamin and mineral premix – including calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and the B-group vitamins
- Prebiotics and probiotics – 1 billion CFU of Lactospore® (Bacillus coagulans) plus prebiotic fibre, so gut support is built into the formula
- Around 6g of fibre per serve – a meaningful contribution toward daily fibre intake, which most shakes skip entirely
- MCT fats from coconut milk powder – adds richness and body without any dairy
- Two bases to choose from – roasted peanut for a nutty, fuller flavour, or almond for something smoother and more neutral
- Free from dairy and gluten – fully plant-based, with no artificial flavours or fillers
- Made in Australia – blended in Queensland
What Is A Plant Based Meal Replacement Shake?
A standard protein powder does one job: it adds protein. A plant based meal replacement shake is built to do more, covering protein, carbohydrates, fats, fibre and micronutrients in a single serve so it can genuinely stand in for food rather than just supplement it.
That distinction shows up in the formula. Where a protein powder might run 20–25g of protein and little else, each 56g serve of The Macro Shake carries more than 28g of protein, roughly 6g of fibre, and a complete vitamin and mineral premix. The fibre and fat content are what drive satiety — protein alone empties from the stomach faster than a mixed macronutrient load, which is why protein shakes tend to leave you hungry again sooner.
The gut component is the other addition. Lactospore® is a spore-forming probiotic strain, chosen because it survives both storage in a dry powder and the acidity of the stomach. It's paired with prebiotic fibre, which feeds the bacteria already present. Neither is standard in a shake at this price point.
The two bases differ slightly beyond flavour. The peanut version combines roasted peanut, faba bean and pea protein with prebiotic fibre from sweet potato flour. The almond version pairs almond and faba bean protein with tapioca fibre and runs marginally higher in protein and fat, lower in carbohydrates. Both land close to 205 calories per serve.
How To Use
Mix one 56g scoop or sachet with water or plant-based milk and shake or blend thoroughly. Plant milk will give a richer, thicker result if you're using it in place of a meal.
Macro Mike recommends one to two serves per day. It suits breakfast on a rushed morning, a desk lunch, or a post-training refuel where you want more than protein alone.
It can also be blended with fruit, oats or nut butter to build it out further. Nutritional values vary between the almond and peanut bases and between flavours.
The almond varieties contain almonds; the peanut varieties contain peanuts. Both are produced in a facility that also handles peanuts, almonds and soy. Formulated Supplementary Sports Food. This product is not a sole source of nutrition and should be consumed in conjunction with a nutritious diet and an appropriate physical training or exercise programme. Not suitable for children under 15 years of age or pregnant women. Should only be used under medical or dietetic supervision. Always read the label and use only as directed.
